We have achieved both the National Healthy Schools Award and Kirklees Healthy Schools Award!

Furthermore, our kitchen has achieved the Kirklees Gold Award for healthy lunches.
The school has also been awarded with the 'Active Mark' for
P.E. during the school day and sports clubs after school !

We have achieved the National Eco Schools Bronze Award!
Various bird boxes, a hedgehog box and bird feeders have been placed around the school field to start our wildlife area, meanwhile we have collected logs to encourage the insects and even made our own 'fat balls' to feed the birds.
We have a compost bin so we are all recycling suitable produce such as the remains from our fruit!
Inside school we have'Eco Monitors' who turn off lights, computers and check taps, they also collect the paper which is suitable for recycling each day.
And ...
Now we have achieved the Silver award!
