In early June all the Juniors visited Bradley Wood Campsite and Activity Centre. The Year 4's went for the day, whilst the Year 5's and 6's spent two days and camped overnight. We were responsible for putting up the tents, that was lots of fun and definitely a learning curve! Despite all our hard work we only managed half the night in the tents - it was absolutely freezing (even with coats on in the sleeping bag)! No one had managed to sleep a wink, so about three o'clock in the morning the decision was made to spend the remaining time inside. It was SO lovely and warm and we all had a much needed sleep!
When we weren't sleeping we were kept extremely busy. It was difficult to choose a favourite activity - we thoroughly enjoyed the low ropes/high ropes, archery, climbing wall, caving bus, raft building and the orienteering course (that really tested our navigational skills!). How lucky are we to have Bradley Wood on our doorstep?
