Our Investors In Pupils Board

Mrs Grogan, Mrs Speak and Miss Poxton are our friendly and kind teachers in the Early Years Unit. Mrs Grogan works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays and Mrs Speak works Wednesday Thursday and Fridays.  Miss Poxton is working full time and will be with us until the summer. Mrs Lister and Mrs Johnson are our super nursery nurses who work and play alongside us every day.

Our friendly Unit welcomes parents and friends to join us and celebrate the children's learning. We are always here to answer questions and help with any concerns.

If we look too busy, find Mrs Fenton - she will be happy to listen.

Here in the Foundation Stage at Littletown School we learn through lots of 'hands on' play both inside and outside the classroom.

Role play is an important part of our activities as it encourages speaking and listening skills.

We play out every day so come prepared!

We love to listen to stories and learn Jolly Phonics.  We learn to write our letters (see left & above) and we enjoy counting everything from conkers to cars.

We investigate our wonderful world and paint, draw, cut and stick to create all sorts of fabulous designs.

At the end of January 2010 we had a special investors in pupils day when Sydney the dinosaur visited and spent some time in each classroom.  In Early years he helped us make soup, played games outside and joined us at our snack time.
