Class 4 is an important move up for the children at Littletown as they change from being infants to becoming juniors. We still have a fun approach to learning, and make our activities as practical as possible, whilst ensuring that we work hard and give 100% effort all of the time. Life as a junior has a different structure to what we have been used to in Key Stage 1, but we have a friendly atmosphere in class to enable to children to become accustomed to their new routines as quickly as possible. |
Our class teacher is Miss Turner however Mrs. Hetherington, Mrs. Fenton and Miss Smith also work in our class.
|
In class 4 we try to encourage the children to become more independent and responsible for their work and belongings. We can receive rewards like stickers and house points for working hard, and following our class rules to ensure everyone can try their best.

We slide down the slippery slope as we earn our 'Golden Time'. Hopefully by the end of the week we have 20 minutes each. |

We have just started to learn some words in French. This is really good fun because we play games and practice speaking to one another. We can even answer the register in French!

|
We have a VCOP display (Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation) where we collect a lot of our fabulous sentence ideas so that we can use them in our writing together with lots of 'WOW' words.

The biggest change is that we don’t have an afternoon playtime which makes it even more important that we have a range of fun and practical topic work to keep us busy!
