Mrs Grogan, Mrs Speak and Miss Bairstow are our friendly and kind teachers in the Early Years Unit. Mrs Grogan works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays and Mrs Speak works Wednesday Thursday and Fridays.  Miss Bairstow works all week, having recently joined our school in September.. Mrs Lister and Mrs Johnson are our super nursery nurses who work and play alongside us every day.

Mrs Grogan is off on maternity leave at the moment, she has just had a baby girl called Poppy.  We welcome Mrs Bull who works as part of the Early Years team on a Thursday and Friday.

Our friendly Unit welcomes parents and friends to join us and celebrate the children's learning. We are always here to answer questions and help with any concerns.

Since Easter we've  had a fun visit from Gillian Rogerson - author of 'You can eat a princess', she brought along some pictures of her new book which will be published in September, we've also had a 'Chatter' day where all parents were invited to spend time in the unit with their children.  It was en extremely well attended event thoroughly enjoyed by all. 

Our most recent topic is all about mini beasts we have been reading lots of different stories and at some point going outside to see how many of them we can find!
