Miss Armitage - Class 6 Teacher & Deputy Head |
Miss Armitage (our class teacher) is very proud of us and our achievements! In class 6 our main aim is to develop a sense of responsibility for ourselves and our learning and it is our job to act as positive role models to the younger pupils of the school. You may see us selling fruit at break times, carrying out our jobs as buddies (to make sure that the playground is a happy place to be), collecting registers and preparing for assemblies. We also have Mrs Cole and Mrs Keqa working with us in class.
Below you'll find some of the things we're doing at the moment:
We have learnt a lot this term about the amazing Amazon jungle, looking at the different layers and the animals that are found there. We have created exciting adventure stories based on the jungle for the younger children in school and we are currently building Amazonian shelters from things we found in our local woodland. We designed two shelters and decided which we would like to make.
